Aphrodisiacs
In 2004 the Nobel Prize was given to the scientists who managed to prove that 90% of the information influencing our feelings we receive through the smell sense. This news made a big stir.
It turned out that people unconsciously love or vice versa hate first of all due to scents. Simply put we love with our nose: both men and women. Now it's clear for all us why ancient times placed such a high emphasis to aphrodisiacs.
Seducing qualities of aphrodisiacs can be explained by several factors. First and foremost, the majority of aphrodisiacs (those that we use for food), have high food value; contain a wide range of vitamins and microelements thus contributing to metabolism, fast recreation and sexual potential. Some aphrodisiacs contain enzymes similar to human sexual hormones or substances facilitating generation of such hormones by organism itself.
There are also aphrodisiacs that stimulate blood rush to genitals enhancing their sensitiveness, influence human cerebral cortex, mentality and behavior, evoke sexual fantasies, make people feel free and confident and arouse euphoria.
By its nature aromatic aphrodisiacs are divided into two types: classical (physiological) and psychotropic.
Classical aphrodisiacs optimize blood circulation, enhance potency, stimulate endocrine glands, eliminate frigidity and prevent early ejaculation thus prolonging the intercourse.
Psychotropic aphrodisiacs enhance sensitiveness, passion, intensify libido and erogenous receptivity, ease and refine emotions.
Classical aphrodisiacs include: verbena, carnation, geranium, jasmine, ylang-ylang, ginger, cypress, cinnamon, myrtle, ground lemon, juniper, nutmeg, nerol, palmarosa, patchouli, rose, rosemary, sandal, citronella etc.
Psychotropic aphrodisiacs include: orange, bergamot, grapefruit, cedar, incense, lime, marjoram, tangerine, myrrh, petit grain, poon, pine-tree, sage, thyme etc.
It has been determined that natural aphrodisiacs are able to influence hypophysis and generate endorphins. The latter strengthen sexual desires, arose euphoria and, moreover, relief pain. Natural aphrodisiacs' qualities aren't limited to exciting effect only: they perfectly control nervous and endocrine systems, cure frigidity and importance, make up for vitality and take out toxins.

Through our nose aromatic aphrodisiacs interact with olfactory receptors and provoke nervous impulse, which repeatedly swells at the expense of adjacent receptors impulses. Total impulse through olfactory nerve gets into the central nervous system and is further analyzed by the memory center.
At this very moment we experience emotional reaction, which reduces tension, eliminates discomfort, uncertainty, evoke libido and activate blood circulation.
Above all, natural aphrodisiacs unload subconsciousnes, release mentality of all fears and complexes and normalize cardiovascular system functioning. Aphrodisiacs take spasmolytic effect.
