Sex Lubricants
As a rule sex toys producers make dildos somewhat bigger than an average statistical penis size. That's why for successful application of sex devices it is often essential to buy sex lubricants.
The sex lubricants are of three basic types:
- oil-based lubricants
- water-based lubricants
- silicone-based lubricants
Oil-based sex lubricants are absolutely unsuitable for experimenting with sex toys. Their major assignment is massage. This is because the oils, both synthetic and mineral have a troublesome quality to corrode latex and silicone. And the toys just like condoms are made right of the above mentioned materials fickle to oil lubricants. That's why such sex lubricants can be used only in love-making without condoms, which definitely provides for freedom of fantasy and creativity, yet excludes safe sex with condoms.
Water-based sex lubricants are, perhaps, universal in the view of allowable sex types. Such water based lubricant don't destroy thin materials of condoms and sex toys and are consequently suitable both for self-stimulating and for various means of mutual pleasuring. Basic disadvantage of water lubricants is its short life-term. It dries out too fast, that's why you should add the sex lubricant during sex, what bothers and diverts.

Silicon-based sex lubricant could be the best one: no drying, no condom destruction. Yet it still has two serious disadvantages. Firstly, you will have to take no less than half an hour shower after sex with a silicon lubricant. Just because it cannot dry out the sex lubricant cannot also be washed off even with water, soap and other hygienic substances.
Second disadvantage of silicon lubricants is their destructive effect on sex toys. Although they don't destroy latex condoms, this quality doesn't apply to silicon makes. And yet it's silicon that most touch-soft vibrators and other sex toys are made of.
Besides type gradation sex lubricants may contain various supplements. Water based lubricants are most popular lubricants rich in different "spices". The sex lubricant can be improved with the help of flavor and scent additives.
There're also anesthetization or pain-relief lubricants. They usually contain lidocaine and are designed for anal sex. Those who only begin practicing anal sex will probably appreciate freezing effect of such a specific product.
Contraceptive effect sex lubricants can also be met in sex shops. Nevertheless they are not contraceptives themselves: this product has been developed first of all for overcautious couples, who don't rely on one preservation means only. Thus, this lubricant will help in case of a condom tearing or pills or spiral failure.
